This review is for the `100% Egyptian Cotton Percale Sheets King Size – Genuine Luxurious 400 Thread Count – Naturally Crisp, Breathable, Skin-Friendly & Cooling – Softer After Each Wash – Oeko-TEX Certified Giza’ king size sheet set in color Mint Green, ASIN B08XW94TYL.Two sets of these king size sheets were purchased in May 2023. They were immediately washed in cold water with Nellie’s laundry soda with 5% white vinegar placed in the `fabric softener’ portion of the agitator in a top load Speed Queen washing machine to `set the colors’. Why the extra information? Because these sheets can take it, they are that good. At least the two sets I have are. In addition to that, after that first wash they always get washed in hot (120-degree F.) water and tumble dried on low temperature auto-dry. Just one month shy of a year of this and both sets are holding up great. Each set is rotated (one set on the bed, one set washed then stored). To date, both sets are holding their color fine.For those wondering about the fit of the fitted sheet, these are used on a Satva Classic Mattress 11.5″ luxury firm, non-split mattress. The fitted sheet covers the sides fine and does go under the bottom of the mattress a few inches with very nice elastic banding. The fitted sheet could be made with more `reach’ in that department, but there has been no issue with the fitted sheet popping out of place to date. So if your mattress is taller than that, say if you have the 14.5″ mattress, this may be an issue for your use case. The fitted sheets that I received both have labels of `long side’ or `short side’, as appropriate, for all four sides. I don’t know if that is the case for any other sets beyond the non-split king size though.The sheets and pillow cases after being washed and dried as listed above do have what some may call `wrinkling’, but that is a non-issue here and in no way affects their amazing comfort, and I’m not ironing king size sheet sets after each wash. Um, no. It is 2024 not 1904 and these sheets are not being put on display in a palace. LOL If that’s your thing, have at it and enjoy your likely perfect, no crease sheets. Well, until you actually sleep on them one night and the next morning realize that…, to each their own. 🙂 These sleep very nicely cool with the above listed mattress (your mileage may vary).Knowing how the `selling cycle’ of a lot of goods tend to be, especially for good products it seems, a third set was desired in order to make sure that a new sheet style, color, or company doesn’t have to be researched to death to find another one because an item gets discontinued. Unfortunately as of today, 4-13-2024, both Amazon and the Sweave homepage (listed under Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set) do not list the sheets in Mint Green in stock for this set any longer. They do show Light Grey and White as two currently produced and available sets though.Hopefully, they will be bringing back the Mint Green again at some point and if so, two more sets will be ordered and put into rotation. That should make them all last quite some number of years. 🙂

Don’t believe the hype in the description on their page. The sheets get more and more wrinkled as I wash them. I’m going to have to toss them as I can’t iron them enough to make a dent in the wrinkles, and they are scratchy. Just not comfortable. Waste of money. (Read on…they changed the description after I complained and now state that cotton wrinkles. Wish I had seen that when I read the description that was there when I ordered the sheets.)When I first ordered these sheets, the description noted how soft they are and how they get even softer after use. I don’t remember the wording, but got the impression that the sheets did not wrinkle badly. Later, after several washings, the sheets were even more scratchy and wrinkled, but I could not return them because the window for return had closed. I wrote a negative review, and the company replied that the nature of the fabric means that it wrinkles. NOW, they have modified the description and DO indicate that the cotton sheets wrinkle. So I feel that the earlier description I saw was incomplete and inaccurate. But they will not accept a return, and I am stuck tossing out expensive sheets.

The sheets are scratchy and the elastic in the bottom sheet appears cheap. Only time will tell.
